This policy explains how OhMyDesk uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the
site work and remember your session. We also use similar browser storage (such as
localStorage) where needed for the service to function.
2. How we use cookies
We keep cookie use to a minimum. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and our website analytics are cookieless. We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the service.
Our marketing site and app load Google Fonts from Google’s servers. When your browser fetches those fonts, Google may receive your IP address and basic technical data for that request.
3. Strictly necessary cookies & storage
These are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as logging in.

Because these are strictly necessary, under the EU ePrivacy rules they do not require prior consent, so we do not show a blocking cookie banner. If we ever add non-essential (analytics or marketing) cookies, we will add a consent banner first.
4. Analytics (cookieless)
We use Umami Cloud (EU region) to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Analytics requests go through our own proxy so Umami does not receive your IP address. Umami does not store analytics cookies on your device and does not identify you personally.
For a small set of internal test accounts, our app may set
umami.disabled in browser local storage so Umami skips tracking for that browser.
This flag is not used for ordinary visitors.
5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the service from working — for example, staying logged in.
6. Changes
We will update this policy if our cookie use changes, and we’ll update the date above.
